A team of 10 girl students of classes 11 and 12 representing the AMNS International School in Hazira, Surat, has clinched the first position in the National Level Nukkad Natak Competition organised by the National Museum of Natural History, which functions under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Their outstanding performance earned them the top spot among entries from thousands of schools across the country.
The theme of the competition for students in classes 9 to 12 and aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and find solutions, was with World Environment Day 2024’s theme of “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.”
“This national competition saw the participation of numerous schools all over the country, and it is a matter of great pride that our students’ entry was judged the best. I congratulate them for their spectacular victory on the national stage and commend their exceptional performance and dedication,” Sunita Matoo, Principal – AMNS International School, said.
