Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN), Noida a charitable school for special children working under the aegis of Ponty Chadha Foundation (PCF) held its 27th Annual Day Function on April 4. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Bandhan” which highlighted the importance of family, relationships and inclusion in a changing world during the celebrations.
The event featured cultural performances by students, showcasing family bonds across generations through music, dance, and storytelling. The vital role of family support in the holistic development of children with disabilities was the key highlight during the celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajiv Gupta, Managing Director, Wave Group said, “Our mission has always been anchored in care and education. Today, we are extending that commitment beyond the walls of our school. By not only imparting knowledge but also creating pathways to real employment, we aim to bridge the gap for persons with disabilities and open doors to meaningful opportunities. The initiatives announced today are designed to turn our vision into tangible outcomes, empowering our students to thrive in the world beyond academics”.
During the event, he also added, “Over the past year, we have begun a structured digital transformation of MBCN — not just to modernize paperwork, but to build something far more meaningful: an intelligent support system for our teachers, our parents, and most importantly, our students. Led by AI Insight & Intelligence Consultant Rūta, the project is transforming student records, therapy inputs, and Individualized Education Plans into structured intelligence, laying the foundation for what could become the world’s first AI-powered ecosystem for special needs education. Importantly, the system is not a replacement for human care, but a support framework that empowers teachers, therapists, and parents to deliver consistent, compassionate, and impactful education. We are deeply grateful to our teachers, therapists, parents, and leadership team for embracing this vision, and remain committed to leading the way in shaping a future where technology strengthens compassion and care.”
Dr Vandana Sharma, Director and Principal, MBCN School said, “We will continue working with organizations, NGOs and volunteers to build inclusive hiring pathways for those with disabilities.”
