The Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) has announced merit-based scholarships of up to €4,000 for international students applying to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Information Technology, as Ireland steps up efforts to attract skilled global talent into its fast-growing technology sector within Europe’s Silicon Valley Ireland’s thriving technology sector.
Ireland’s structured post-study work pathway further strengthens opportunities for international graduates. Students completing eligible qualifications can avail a post-study work visa of up to two years, enabling them to gain professional experience and translate technical expertise into meaningful career progression within Europe’s Silicon Valley — Ireland’s thriving technology sector.
With strong industry clusters across the Midlands and Midwest, TUS connects students directly to employer networks, applied research and industry-led projects. Its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes combine hands-on laboratory training, real-world problem solving and professional skills development, supported by small class sizes and strategic industry alignment.
