Happy Valley Business School, a leading stand-alone AICTE affiliated B-School in Coimbatore affiliated to Anna University, Chennai is encouraging its students to get involved in internships. The intent is to encourage students to build a strong foundation for their career and streamline the journey from campus to corporate. This is an important part when they start their career.
The two-month internship “Begin Your Ascent” by AscentHR, a leader in HR Solutions, Payroll, Benefits and Compliance Services was announced early November, 2020. Students from various specializations and courses from Happy Valley Business School participated in this internship.

This batch, which started on 15th November, 2020 and concluded on 19th February, 2021 focused on the Payroll & Compliance domain was tailored to meet the demands of the market.

The overall feedback received from the students after the internship touched upon multiple dimensions of the corporate world experience. The students found this internship giving them a view of corporate culture and an operational work environment. In addition to helping them build confidence, the internship program gave them timeless understanding about the grooming and etiquette, behavioral aspects, and professionalism that are expected at a workplace.
