The WorldGrad, is a tech enabled study abroad platform based in Mumbai.  It has 35+ international partners and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in STEM and business fields. It was founded by Abhinav Mital, Pranav Saxena, and Amit Garga, and is backed by Linc Education and Online Education Australia.

The WorldGrad aims to help 500,000 students move abroad to pursue higher education in the next couple of years and help them enroll in advanced learning programs. Education21.in editorial team spoke to Abhinav Mital to understand the claim made by the consultancy about their students spending 25% less on their overseas education.

According to Mital, each year, an increasing number of students harbor the dream of overseas education and for most students aiming to study at a prestigious foreign university, the cost is a major decision-making factor. Because of price sensitivity, students de-prioritize the quality of education, even though one of the primary reasons for studying abroad is the ROI. However, The WorldGrad offers a smarter way to study abroad for Indian students by helping them save a significant amount of money while also getting a high-quality education.

He says, “The WorldGrad is an award-winning education provider and academic partner to globally ranked universities, and dtudents can study up to 1 year of their degree with The WorldGrad’s Smart Programs and progress overseas seamlessly to over 40 partner universities in Australia, the UK & the US. This smart route helps students reduce the cost of their education by 25% or more. Overall, students pursuing their overseas education through The WorldGrad can expect to reduce the total cost burden by 25-30%, which could be anywhere from Rs. 10-40 lakhs. Besides assistance with cost reduction, The WorldGrad also helps students access education loans for both in-country and overseas studies. “

The fee maths

The tuition fees for The WorldGrad’s Smart Program is 30-40% of what students would pay on campus for the first year of their degree. This makes the degree more affordable while preserving the overseas academic experience for the student. The Smart Programs are based on an international curriculum and taught by experienced overseas academics. Students are also supported by online facilitators for one-on-one tutoring and problem-solving.

The Smart Programs help students save a significant amount of money in another way. By starting their studies with The WorldGrad, students save on living expenses for up to a year. Depending on the location of their university, this can mean a cost saving of several lakhs.

Scholarships

The WorldGrad’s partner universities offer exclusive study-abroad scholarships to their students. This helps students further reduce their education costs.

Through their personalized offering, The WorldGrad aims to help 500,000 students move abroad to pursue higher education in the next couple of years and help them enroll in advanced learning programs. Their Smart Programs are designed to help students reduce expenses and gain a higher ROI for their degree from a leading university in the UK, US or Australia. A reduced tuition fee, savings on living expenses, and access to exclusive scholarships for Indian students to study abroad make high-quality education more accessible.
