Assam down town University (AdtU), Guwahati, one of the leading universities of India has launched a Scholarship Program of upto 1 Crore Rupees for students across the country, stating that the varsity has a variety of placement driven courses.
Students who have appeared in 10+2 exams from any stream, Arts, Science or Commerce, or have already obtained their results are eligible to register free for the scholarship test that is scheduled for 25th July 2021.
The 60 minutes online test will carry questions in MCQ format (Multiple Choice Question) with no negative marking. It is important to note that English and G.K sections would be compulsory for all students while they can opt for other papers from their respective subjects/streams. Dr N.N. Dutta, Chancellor of Adtu said, “In this pandemic hit situation AdtU has decided to provide an opportunity to the deserving students across the country to pursue the courses that would help them fulfil their dreams. The scholarship will help meritorious students from humble backgrounds and lessen the financial burden on the parents. It is an initiative to give back to the society and make it a better place.”
“This is the first time AdtU has launched such a mega scholarship program and we plan to make it an annual affair. We will hold the Common Scholarship Test nationally so that all the students get a chance to be benefitted from the program” added Prof. N.C. Talukdar, Vice Chancellor, AdtU.
