The Teach For India Fellowship is a transformative two-year, full-time paid program. It brings together exceptional individuals from diverse backgrounds, attracting Fellows from over 500 universities and colleges and 300 companies across India. The selection process is rigorous, attracting some of the nation’s most brilliant and promising young leaders.
Chosen Fellows commit to serving as full-time teachers in affordable private schools or English-medium government schools. Here, they’ll guide students through the complexities of India’s inequities, directly addressing the root causes of educational disadvantage. Beyond the classroom, the Fellowship cultivates crucial leadership skills, including empathy, active listening, and relationship-building, fostering significant professional growth.
