The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 has announced two key updates for aspiring management students. The final mock test window will be open from 12:00 PM on November 19, 2025, to 12:00 PM on November 20, 2025, providing candidates with an opportunity to experience the same test environment as the actual exam. The XAT 2026 application edit window will remain active from 9:00 AM on November 25, 2025, to 9:00 AM on November 27, 2025.

Both announcements underscore XAT’s continued commitment to offering candidates a smooth and supportive examination process from preparation to final submission.

As part of its ongoing initiative to conduct monthly mock tests, XAT 2026 will hold the November Mock Test from November 19 (12 PM) to November 20 (12 PM). This mock aims to help candidates fine-tune their preparation strategies ahead of the upcoming national-level entrance exams. To be eligible for this mock test, candidates must submit their XAT 2026 application by November 16, 2025. Eligible participants can log in to their dashboards on the official website, www.xatonline.in

The mock test replicates the actual XAT exam format, comprising the key sections: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VALR), Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI).

The total test duration is three hours, with one mark awarded per correct answer, 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer, and no negative marking in the GK section. Additionally, a penalty of -0.10 marks applies for each unattempted question beyond eight skipped questions.

Application Edit Window Opens November 25–27

In addition to the mock test, XAT 2026 has announced that the application edit window will be open from 9:00 AM on November 25, 2025, to 9:00 AM on November 27, 2025.

During this period, candidates who have already registered can log in to their accounts on www.xatonline.in to make corrections to their submitted applications. Editable fields may include personal details, academic qualifications, work experience, and preferred test cities. However, email ID and phone numbers cannot be edited. For additional XLRI program selection, candidates are requested to contact the Admissions Office at xatadministration@xlri.ac.in
