IndianOil Adani Ventures Limited (IAVL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Woxsen University, marking its first-ever formal partnership with an academic institution. This strategic collaboration aims to strengthen industry-academia ties through innovation, executive learning, and applied research.
The MoU was signed between Mr. Manoj Kumar Borad, CFO & Director Finance of IAVL, and Dr. Raul V Rodriguez, Vice President of Woxsen University. The agreement outlines a structured partnership focused on joint research initiatives, executive education, and industry exposure for students and professionals.
As part of the collaboration, students and research scholars from both institutions will undertake joint research projects, leveraging the infrastructure and facilities at Woxsen and IAVL. Special emphasis will be placed on projects in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, supported by Woxsen’s AI Research Centre and Robotics Lab, to drive real-world applications within IAVL’s business operations.
Dr. Raul V Rodriguez said, “This partnership embodies our commitment to fostering innovation that not only advances academic learning but also creates tangible, sustainable impact in the energy sector. Together with IAVL, we aim to spearhead solutions that will redefine the future of oil and gas industries through AI.”
IAVL will offer internships and facilitate industry visits for Woxsen students, enabling experiential learning across key business verticals. Simultaneously, Woxsen University will design and deliver executive education programs for IAVL employees, including general management and technology-driven modules tailored to domains such as Terminalling, Build Services, and Renewable Energy.
The partnership will also include knowledge-sharing platforms such as workshops, seminars, and guest lectures. Subject Matter Experts from both institutions will contribute to these sessions, encouraging mutual learning and practical insights.
Woxsen University will further develop case studies based on IAVL’s operations, with a focus on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models. These case studies will provide students with a deeper understanding of real-time business dynamics and strategic decision-making.
