Sharda University’s Cultural Fest ‘Chorus 2K26’ Wraps Up with Sunanda Sharma’s Electrifying Performance

Three-day Annual Fest “Chorus 2K26” of Sharda University, located at Knowledge Park, Greater Noida, concluded with a bang with a live performance by popular Indian singer Sunanda Sharma. This year’s fest with the theme “Festival of Dreams and Diversity,” focused on witnessing and celebrating the richness of diversity reflected in our culture under various platforms such as music, dance, drama, fine arts/literature with young talents from all over India. Almost 60 teams from different universities and colleges participated in various competitions.

The fest included DJ and musical nights on all three days. The performances of renowned Indian music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman set the stage on fire with their captivating performance. The musical show went on with the dynamic performances of DJ Ravator, and singer Aditi Sharma. Indian singer Sunanda Sharma set the stage on fire with her mesmerizing performance. She brought out the audience’s favourite songs such as “Jani Tera Na,” “Mummy Nu Pasand,” “Sandal,” and “Morni,” resulting in the audience dancing and recording videos on their cell phones.

The major highlight of the fest was the Global Village program, which consisted of students from 28+ countries and various Indian states like Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Kashmir, Bihar etc., and the dishes presented were from popular cuisine from each country and from various parts of India. Diplomats from various countries were invited and were present on the occasion to celebrate.

Dr. Ajit Kumar, Director of Public Relations at Sharda University, said that there were over 20 activities like debates, fashion shows, mono acts, comedy shows, rap battles, open-mic, group dances, and so on in the three-day festival. He said the aim of the programme was to integrate cultural diversity from all over India and the world on a single platform highlighting the global outlook of Sharda University. The event witnessed the presence of over 70 dignitaries, teachers, and students from all over the world.

The Pro-Chancellor Mr. Y.K. Gupta awarded prizes to the winners of the competitions on the concluding day.
