Kanakia International School to host a career fair for students & parents by a group of 40 foreign universities

Kanakia International School Chembur (IB Board) is all set to host three days career fair from 15th September to 17th September 2022. This career fair titled “The World at your fingertips” is mainly for students and parents to have access to timely and credible information about available career choices across the globe.

The main aim is to provide a horizon-expanding experience for both students and parents by providing Admission Assistance, Career Counselling, Psychometric Tests, Study Abroad Services, and Form Updates. Besides students, this fair will support parents in the quest to explore career opportunities for their children. There is an opportunity of exploring and interacting with universities from different countries, learn about scholarships, and much more.

It is a one-stop education exhibition focused on student recruitment for higher studies in top universities across the world. Through this exhibition, the students will get a window to understand the dynamics of various international universities by interacting with the representatives of top universities across the globe. The fair will observe the presence of 40 elite universities from India, the UK, the USA, Australia, and Canada.

Talking about the career fair, Shuchi Shukla – Principal, Kanakia International School, said “We are providing a platform that opens a plethora of opportunities across the world! With this career fair, we want to provide aspiring students a platform where they can experience first-hand contact with professionals from various fields of work as well as representatives from Indian and foreign universities. This will greatly benefit the students as they can find out about university requirements, the culture of the university, and explore program and career options with these representatives.”

 

GRADE-WISE DETAILS:

There is something for everyone in this Career Fair: –

As a Grade 9 student, if you want to know how and where to start your research for colleges and universities, registering for the career fair will be an absolute starting point for you to explore.

As a Grade 10 student, this fair will help you explore career options, learn about undergraduate studies, and how you can start preparing yourself to build your profile. At the same time, you will get to build your connection with universities and understand expectations.

As a Grade 11 student, the fair comes at the right time for you to establish a one-on-one connection with universities, and learn about their unique offerings, diversity on campus, research opportunities, scholarships, clubs, etc. Give yourself a chance to find the best-fit university and the countries you would like to consider applying to in the near future.

As a Grade 12 student, you are almost there, with an opportunity to connect with universities that are on your bucket list. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to create an impression, ask relevant questions, and attend workshops. You can also get an insight on how to write the perfect Statement of Purpose

As a parent, you can be a part of the panel where parents in new age careers can share their experience about the education that carved their career trajectory with students of the school.

As a teacher, you can learn how to write effective letters of recommendation.
