Get Set Learn, an Arvind Mafatlal Group company, has partnered with the Museum of Solutions (MuSo), a unique children’s museum in Mumbai, to bring a world-renowned exhibit by American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), New York, to India. The exhibition will highlight the unbroken line between the charismatic dinosaurs that dominated the planet for about 170 million years and modern birds.
Visitors will also get an opportunity to role-play as paleontologists by excavating fossils from a sandpit with real tools, piecing together dinosaurs’ skeletons, and creating their own fossil impressions to take home. Till date the museum has witnessed a footfall of over 1,000 visitors within the first month of launching the exhibit, comprising both children and adults.
This edition of Dinosaurs Among Us is curated by Dr. Akinobu Watanabe, Research Associate at the American Museum of Natural History and Assistant Professor of Anatomy at New York Institute of Technology. It is adapted from the Museum’s original exhibition of the same title, curated by Mark Norell, Curator Emeritus in the Division of Paleontology.
The ‘Dinosaurs Among Us’ exhibition will be hosted at the Museum of Solutions till 31st December 2024. This unique experimental children’s museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and weekends 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The tickets are priced at Rs. 399 and are available on BookMyShow or can be purchased at the counter in MuSo.
