48248 including  7964 female candidates qualify JEE (Advanced) 2024, Ved Lahoti top ranks with 355/360

A total of 180200 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2024, held on 26th May 2024, the results of which were declared on June 9. In this exam, 48248 candidates have qualified. Out of the total qualified candidates, 7964 are female candidates. Ved Lahoti of IIT Delhi zone is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL). He obtained 355 out of 360 marks.  Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay zone is the top-ranked female candidate with CRL 7. She obtained 332 out of 360 marks.

Criteria for Inclusion in a Rank List 

The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.

Maximum aggregate marks: 360 (180 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)

Maximum marks in Mathematics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)

Maximum marks in Physics: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)

Maximum marks in Chemistry: 120 (60 each in Paper 1 and Paper 2)
