TCS InQuizitive, a nationwide quiz competition held across 12 cities in India, continued its trail of success with the Kochi edition of its flagship annual quiz competition, TCS InQuizitive 2025. Held in Kochi, the event showcased a spirited display of intellect, agility, and teamwork as students vied for top honours.

After several rounds of high-energy quizzing, the nail-biting finale saw Aditya KB and Gagan Arun from Vijayagiri Public School, Chalakudy emerge as the winners of the Kochi edition. Their performance stood out for its composure, agility and accuracy, hallmarks of true quizzing excellence. The winning team will now advance to represent the region in the National Finals, where they will compete against top teams from across India for the coveted title of TCS InQuizitive 2025 Champions.

Part of a 12-city national series open to students from classes 8 to 12, the Kochi edition drew an enthusiastic turnout of 191 teams from 49 schools, bringing together 382 bright young minds from across Kerala and neighbouring regions. The competition served as a vibrant regional showcase of talent and curiosity. In addition to local teams from Kochi, participants hailed from nearby districts including Alappuzha, Kozhikode, Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and even from Coimbatore and Nilgiri, adding to the dynamic and competitive spirit of the event.

The event was graced by Mr. Putta Vimaladitya, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police & Commissioner of Police, Kochi City, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Dinesh P. Thampi, Vice President and TCS Head, Kerala, who represented Tata Consultancy Services.

Mr. Dinesh P. Thampi, Vice President and TCS Head, Kerala, said, “TCS InQuizitive is more than just a competition—it’s a platform for young students to showcase their technological acumen and critical thinking. It fosters the habit of continuous learning and staying on top of the latest and upcoming technological trends and innovations. We’re delighted to witness such enthusiastic participation, as the event challenges students to think beyond textbooks and nurtures the next generation of thinkers who will shape our digital future.”

The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025.
