DPS RNE School, Ghaziabad hosted a spectacular celebration of talent and creativity during its Annual Function, “A Symphony of Seasons” held recently.  The central theme, “Re-Earth A Symphony of Seasons, beautifully depicted travellers exploring the charm of different seasons. The young performers from Nursery to Grade 2 brought the theme to life with vibrant energy and innocence.

The journey began with spring, showcasing blooming flowers, buzzing bees, and fluttering butterflies through graceful dance performances. The lively summer segment followed this, where students performed a cheerful beach party dance, portraying children playing with balls and enjoying refreshing watermelon juice to beat the heat.

The Monsoon segment was filled with rhythm and joy as children performed an umbrella dance, delightfully enacting scenes of floating paper boats and enjoying the rain. The transition to Autumn brought a serene and thoughtful mood, with golden leaves symbolizing change and the importance of letting go. The depiction of squirrels gathering food added a touch of realism and warmth.

The final seasonal act, winter, transformed the stage into a magical wonderland with a Christmas tree and a snowman. Students captivated the audience with a charming ballet performance, radiating the cozy spirit of the season.

The narrative then took a powerful turn as the “Attackers,” representing pollution—Mr. Plastic, Mr. Smog, and Mr. Heat threatened Mother Earth. This impactful dramatization conveyed the harsh realities of environmental degradation. However, hope was restored with the entry of the “Crusaders”— Energy Savers, Planters, and Recyclers who emphasized the importance of protecting our planet. The message was loud and clear that our collective efforts can heal the Earth.

The programme concluded with a grand finale celebrating unity, responsibility, and the beauty of nature. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, appreciating the students’ efforts and the meaningful theme of the function. The event ended with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem.

A special video presentation showcasing behind-the-scenes moments was also screened, offering the audience a glimpse into the hard work and dedication that went into making the event a grand success. Principal, Mrs. Pallavi Upadhyaya, highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and environmental awareness among students.
