upGrad, higher edtech major, and the not-for-profit focused on rural India – Swades Foundation have announced 100 scholarships in name of each Olympic medal winner – Neeraj Chopra, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Mirabai Chanu, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajarang Punia & players of the medal-winning Indian Hockey Team. Ronnie Screwvala, Chairperson & Co-founder – upGrad and Co – Founder – Swades Foundation, on Sunday announcing the launch of the scholarship fund on Twitter.
The 100 scholarships will be broken into Gold, Silver & Bronze tiers, and will be given basis the meritocracy of the applying candidates, focused towards empowering the ambitious youth and working professionals of Bharat, at the grassroots across the country who dares to dream big.
