Simandhar Education and the International School of Management Excellence (ISME) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate the U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preparation into ISME’s AICTE-approved PGDM programme. The partnership aims to equip students with dual competencies in management and international accounting, responding to India’s rising demand for globally trained finance professionals.
The integrated model will allow students to pursue PGDM coursework and CPA preparation simultaneously, supported by Becker learning resources, faculty development initiatives, and structured mentorship from industry practitioners. The collaboration seeks to strengthen pathways to roles in audit, taxation, financial reporting, consulting, and advisory, particularly within Big 4 firms and multinational corporations.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at ISME’s Bengaluru campus in the presence of leadership teams from both institutions. The dignitaries included Dr. Nitin Garg (Director, ISME), Dr. Rony G Kurien (Dean, ISME), Dr. Purnajeet Chatterjee (HOD, External Programs, ISME), Mr. Akshay Kumar (Senior Manager, External Programs, ISME), Prof. Sudipto Das (Assistant Professor, ISME), Mr. Sripal Jain (Co-Founder, Simandhar Education) and Mr. Mithun K (Product Lead, Simandhar Education).The event featured the formal exchange of partnership documents, leadership remarks, and interactive sessions with students on the importance of global finance certifications.
The integrated PGDM + U.S. CPA track will offer students access to Becker’s globally recognized preparation resources through Simandhar, personalized mentoring from industry experts, and dedicated placement support for roles in audit, taxation, consulting, financial reporting, and advisory.
