The 2026 edition, coinciding with Royal Enfield’s 125th year, features three distinct ride formats – Himalayan Odyssey Original, Explore, and Nubra & Kargil Circuit, designed to accommodate a wider range of rider experience and availability.
- The Himalayan Odyssey Original|16-day expedition | June 25 to July 10, 2026 : Flags off from Chandigarh, traversing Himachal Pradesh, Zanskar and Ladakh, with full logistical support. The route culminates at Umling La, and will accommodate 150 riders across two batches.
- The Himalayan Odyssey Explore| 10-day expedition | June 26 to July 5, 2026 : A new and unsupported format for experienced riders. Participants carry their own luggage, navigate challenging terrain with limited backup support, and ride with a group capped at 30 riders.
- The Nubra Circuit & Kargil Circuit | June 29 to July 5, 2026 : This is a fly-in format beginning in Leh. Designed around cultural immersion alongside the ride itself
Since 1997, the Himalayan Odyssey has taken riders across some of the world’s highest motorable passes, including Khardung La and Baralacha La, and continues to draw participants from across the globe.
