The Grand Finale of the National Championships 2025, a platform built by School Learning Systems company, LEAD Group, to help students from India’s small towns and emerging cities step onto a big stage with big confidence, was held in Bengaluru on Jan 30.   Now in its seventh year, the Championships featured the top 155 student finalists from across 10+ states. The event brought together over 400 students, teachers, parents and school leaders, offering students the opportunity to demonstrate their learning before national juries and live audiences.

Grand Finale Categories:

  • The ‘Li’l Champs’ category (Nursery–Class 2) helped young learners build confidence, creativity, and early speaking skills.
  • ‘Math Champs’ (Junior: Classes 3–5; Senior: Classes 6–9) focused on building numeracy skills, while ‘English Quiz Champs’ (Junior: Classes 3–5; Senior: Classes 6–9) strengthened spelling, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • ‘Speech Champs’ (Junior: Classes 3–5; Senior: Classes 6–9) enabled students to organise their thoughts and articulate ideas with clarity and confidence.
  • ‘Coding Champs’ (Junior: Classes 3–5; Senior: Classes 6–9) encouraged creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving through project-based challenges.
  • ‘Science Champs’ (Junior: Classes 3–5; Senior: Classes 6–9) challenged students to demonstrate conceptual understanding through hands-on projects and live presentations.

This year, the National Championships by LEAD Group included regional rounds for the first time, bringing the platform closer to students’ hometowns. With participants ranging from Nursery to Grade 9, many students experienced their first-ever on-stage moment: presenting, performing, solving, building, and speaking up in front of a live audience. Winners received certificates, trophies, and prizes, including laptops and tablets.

These students weren’t just ‘performing tasks’ – they were thinking on their feet, explaining, and applying their learning, all in real time!  They are the future of our nation, and they will make India very, very proud.”
