Rhea Kundapur, a Grade 8 student from EuroSchool Airoli, achieved her second Guinness World Record for the Fastest 100m on roller skates using two wheels, completing the distance in 20.22 seconds in Belgaum, Karnataka. This follows her earlier Guinness World Record for the Fastest 100m on inline skates, clocked at 11.21 seconds few years back. With these milestones, Rhea now stands as a multi–Guinness World Record holder, inspiring students across the nation with her exceptional dedication and performance.

Rhea discovered her interest in the skating through the co-curricular program, ASPIRE where specially curated programs in sports and performing arts empowers a child to discover themselves. Focused training, guided mentorship, a nurturing environment and support from the school helped her strengthen her skating skills. Beyond her Guinness World Records, Rhea has participated in Basketball tournaments and has taken part in Inter-House Football Competitions, highlighting her well-rounded approach to sports and her enthusiasm to explore diverse athletic avenues. Her success is backed by a strong support system of her parents, her coach and her school, EuroSchool Airoli, which provided her with a safe, encouraging environment to explore different opportunities.

Speaking about Rhea’s achievement, Geeta Agarwal, Principal, EuroSchool Airoli, said, “We are extremely proud of Rhea’s accomplishment. She embodies the values of discipline, determination, curiosity and confidence that we strive to cultivate in all our learners. At EuroSchool, our balanced schooling approach aims to help students discover their strengths and pursue their passions with confidence. Rhea’s success is a shining example of what students can achieve when they are nurtured with the right opportunities and guidance and empowered to discover themselves.”

Celebrating her success, her mother, Ms. Rupali said, “My daughter started her skating journey on her school track and, with dedication, rose to National-level success. With the support of her coach, class teacher, and school – and my constant encouragement – she kept pushing her limits. Her hard work led her to an extraordinary milestone: being featured in the Guinness Book of World Records. From a simple beginning to a world record, her journey proves that dreams come true with passion and support. EuroSchool remains committed to providing a nurturing, safe and holistic learning environment that encourages every child to explore, grow and excel. This reinforces the belief that every child is born with unique talents and dreams and deserves a stage to discover themselves”.
