Nagpur-based The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research & Training Institute (MAHAJYOTI), an autonomous body of Maharashtra government will distribute JEE/NEET and MHT-CET books to more than 7000 students from Other Backward Classes this year under its Pustak Sanch Watap Yojana. These beneficiaries, who had registered for training from all 36 districts of Maharashtra, will receive these essential study materials. This initiative supports students preparing for their upcoming entrance examinations.

Kiran Nimje, mother of Aaryan from Nagpur, one of the beneficiaries of Mahajyoti Pustak Sanch Watap Yojana, said, “We are grateful to the government for the Mahajyoti scheme! My son received his JEE books and is absolutely delighted with them. After achieving 94% in his SSC board exams, he decided to begin preparing for the JEE in 11th grade itself with the goal of pursuing engineering. The Mahajyoti scheme has been a real lifeline for our family, as purchasing these expensive books would have been impossible for us. He found out about the scheme through the website, and we truly appreciate this invaluable support.”

Atul Save, Maharashtra’s Other Backward and Bahujan Welfare Department Minister, said, “It is inspiring to witness the tremendous response from students to the Mahajyoti scheme. This initiative provides vital support for students from Other Backward Classes to pursue education and achieve their aspirations. Our commitment to providing such opportunities for OBC students remains steadfast, and we strongly encourage them to come forward and leverage these important government initiatives designed for their progress. I wish them all the best for their future endeavors.”
