Kalorex Future School, Ghatlodia, on Oct 6 unveiled the Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training programme alongside a comprehensive health screening initiative for students, during the inaugural event marking its collaboration with the UN Mehta Medical Institute of Cardiology and Research Center, Ahmedabad. The school becomes the the first school chosen for this transformative programme in Gujarat.
Rohit Chaudhary, District Education Officer, Ahmedabad, was the Chief Guest at the event. Arti Mishra, Director – Academics, Kalorex, presence highlighted the vision and commitment of the institution.
Following the inauguration, students of Grades 6 to 8 enthusiastically engaged in the BLS and First Aid Training, mastering critical life-saving techniques under expert guidance. The medical team also conducted a meticulous health screening, evaluating height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, and SpO₂, and students thoughtfully completed a health questionnaire to gain deeper insights into their overall wellness.
