K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) recently inaugurated the state-of-the-art Bloomberg Finance Lab. The lab was inaugurated by Shri Samir Somaiya, Chancellor, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Vice Chancellor Prof. V N Rajasekharan Pillai, and Dr Raman Ramachandran, Director & Dean, KJSIM. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical industry experience and provide students and faculty with cutting-edge tools and real-time data access.
The inauguration of this lab positions KJSIM among the premier institutions in India that have recognized the transformative potential of integrating Bloomberg Professional services into their educational framework. This facility not only enriches the academic experience of students but also empowers them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in today’s globalized financial industry. The Bloomberg Finance Lab will help the institute in the following ways:
