The Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART) at IIT Delhi has introduced an industry-relevant and academically rigorous Online PG Diploma in Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology. This year-long programme is tailored for engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals who aspire to lead the charge in the rapidly evolving green mobility sector.
As part of the curriculum, learners gain a deep, systems-level understanding of the EV ecosystem, covering battery management systems, power electronics, electric powertrain design, EV integration and controls, charging infrastructure, safety systems, and application of AI is fault diagnostics.
Programme Overview
The Post Graduate Diploma in Electric Vehicle Technology is a one-year, blended learning programme delivered through live online sessions by IIT Delhi faculties, complemented by an on-campus immersion module that allows participants to experience lab exposure and academic interaction at IIT Delhi. In partnership with service partner Jaro Education, the programme ensures wider accessibility and professional learning support for participants across the country. Participants benefit from:

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in any Electrical sciences discipline or Bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience in electrical sciences related field
- Diploma in any Electrical sciences discipline and first class with minimum 3 years experience
- Admissions are based on academic merit and professional background
