The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur, is inviting applications for its second batch of four-year Bachelor of Science (B.S.) courses for the academic year 2026. The Institute has two Bachelor of Science courses- B.S. in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and B.S. in Management & Public Policy. Both these courses are designed keeping in mind the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Designed to address the needs of contemporary occupations, the programs include important aspects like data science, management, public policy, and sustainability, providing students with the opportunity to gain technical as well as soft skills necessary for the current work culture.

The curriculum is built on experiential and applicative learning, with AI-enabled classrooms, industrial collaborations, practical applications, case-based teaching, and workshops conducted by industry experts. Students will get chance to participate in corporate internships (for four weeks) and social internships (for two weeks), gaining practical knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines.

Eligibility & Admission Process:
- S. in Data Science & AI: Admission based on JEE (Main) 2026 scores and minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS)
- S. in Management & Public Policy: Admission based on IPMAT 2026 scores (conducted by IIM Indore) and minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS)
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an online Personal Interview
- Application Status: Applications open for the 2026 batch
Programme Fee:
The fees for both programmes are approximately ₹25 lakhs for the four-year (8 semesters) duration (as per the official website; subject to revision).
