Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) announces the launch of its new undergraduate program – B.Tech. in Computer Science and Economics (CSEcon). Leveraging IIIT-Delhi’s expertise in Computer Science and interdisciplinary research, the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Economics is designed to empower students with robust analytical and computational skills applicable in real-world scenarios. As the digitization of the economy becomes entrenched as the new normal, this degree will provide students with an edge in an increasingly competitive job market. Consequently, the program aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Career Prospects: Graduates of the CSEcon program can explore roles such as data scientists, economic analysts, financial engineers, business intelligence analysts, and software developers in sectors like fintech, e-commerce, banking, NGOs and consulting. Admissions and Fees: Admissions will be conducted through JEE Mains, and the fee structure will follow the institute’s standard B.Tech. program norms.
