The Adobe NEXT// Campus Days at the IICT campus in Mumbai held recently brought students and emerging creators together for a day focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and filmmaking. The one-day programme explored how Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Firefly could be used across different stages of the creative process, from ideation and production to storytelling and visualisation.
The programme featured an AI-powered film screening, an exclusive masterclass by filmmakers and creative professionals Antara Lahiri and Jishnu Chatterjee, and hands-on sessions with Adobe experts. Participants also had the opportunity to create their own short films as part of the AI Film Track, gaining practical exposure to AI-assisted filmmaking tools and workflows.
As part of the programme, participants competed for prizes based on their creative submissions. The first-place winner will receive a ₹10,000 Amazon voucher, while the second-place winner will receive an ₹8,000 Amazon voucher. The third, fourth and fifth-place winners each will receive a ₹4,000 Amazon voucher. Participants will also receive certificates, subject to the applicable programme guidelines.
