Grandeur and elegance marked the Annual Day celebrations of Gyaananda School, Sector 109, Dwarka Expressway, held on December 22 at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre. The spectacular event reflected the institution’s commitment to excellence, cultural enrichment and strong value systems, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
Titled ‘SRIJAN 2025: Evoking Your Ikigai’, the celebration was graced by Vijendra Gupta, Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, as the Chief Guest. Manjari Chaturvedi, an eminent artist attended as the Guest of Honou. Ashok Gupta, Chairman, Gyaananda School, and Nakul Gupta, CEO, Gyaananda School were present.
The programme began with a warm welcome of the dignitaries, followed by a soul-stirring performance by the school choir. The harmonious voices of the students resonated through the auditorium, filling the atmosphere with melody and unity, and earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The celebrations then took on a spiritual tone with an auspicious Ganesh Vandana, performed with devotion and grace. The classical dance invoked the blessings of Lord Ganesha, symbolising wisdom, prosperity and the removal of obstacles, and set an inspiring tone for the event.
A major highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Annual School Report 2024–25 by Dr. Deepika Rathi, Director Principal, who offered a transparent, insightful and comprehensive overview of the school’s achievements and progress over the past year. This was followed by inspiring addresses from the Chairman and the Guest of Honour, who praised the students’ dedication and the faculty’s guidance, while encouraging young minds to uphold integrity, discipline and social responsibility.
The much-awaited award ceremony brought moments of pride for the entire Gyaananda community. Scholars and achievers were honoured for excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular activities, celebrating their perseverance and exemplary accomplishments.
The celebration reached its crescendo with a powerful theatrical presentation by the Theatre Society titled “Be the Change.” Addressing the theme of pollution, the play combined striking visuals, emotive performances and vibrant Gujarati, Rajasthani and Punjabi dance forms to deliver a compelling message on environmental responsibility.
The event marked yet another memorable and successful Annual Day celebration by Gyaananda School.
