Apparel Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Vijay Kumar Yadav as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 01st April 2024. An alumnus of IIT Delhi, his career spanning over 22 years, includes more than 12 years of experience in independent leadership roles.
Prior to joining AMHSSC, Dr. Yadav held executive positions at leading organizations within the textile sector, showcasing exceptional skills in industrial research, skill ecosystem planning, and policy formulation.
Welcoming Dr. Yadav as the new CEO of AMHSSC, the board said, “In his remarkable career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the textile industry. His extensive experience in industrial and academic research, coupled with his visionary approach, makes him the perfect fit to lead AMHSSC into its next chapter of growth and success.”
