Motivational speaker and author Shiv Khera launched his new book, “Live While You’re Alive,” at an event held at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi. Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event, organised by Bloomsbury India, witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of dignitaries, literary enthusiasts, and other thought leaders.

The Minister expressed his appreciation for how Mr. Khera has carefully and simply addressed the burning issues of stress. He noted that the book goes beyond surface-level remedies, shedding light on the root causes of stress and offering practical solutions. Dr. Jaishankar commended Mr. Khera’s ability to present complex ideas in a relatable and actionable manner, making the book a valuable resource..

The launch also featured a lively and engaging discussion between Mr. Khera and Smt. Smita Prakash, Chief Editor of Asian News International (ANI), who moderated the session. The conversation delved into the core themes of the book, including overcoming stress, finding resilience, and leading a meaningful life..

“Stress has become a silent killer, with studies showing a 400% increase over the past 20 years. It impacts individuals across professions, even medical doctors, with some experiencing depression and even contemplating suicide. The economic cost is staggering—$1 trillion lost annually to stress-related issues globally. My new book, Live While You’re Alive, addresses the root cause of stress and offers practical tools to manage it effectively. Stress is inevitable, but it’s how we respond to it that defines us. Take a break before you break down, and remember, stress is the price we pay to be thoroughbreds in life.” Mr. Khera shared.
