Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU), Vaishali (Bihar), a part of AISECT Group of Universities (AGU) has announced admissions to 2021 intake for its Undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and diploma programmes.
Being the first Skills University in Bihar, CVRU offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses across six faculties that include – Engineering & Technology, Commerce & Management, Arts & Humanities, Science, Computer Science & IT, Agriculture and Yoga. PhD. in selected subjects is available through separate entrance tests.
Taking into account the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the University has taken the admission process for the year completely online.
All the facilities and services related to the admission process have been made available virtually, including online campus tours on the University’s YouTube channel and live chats with counselors. Students can submit the application form and deposit their fees online via enabled websites and portals.
The University is also set to arrange career counseling sessions for prospective students along with online classes on soft skills, communication and personality development absolutely free of cost.
According to Santosh Kumar Choubey, Visitor, CVRU Bihar, the way Covid cases are surging again, we are not sure whether we will be able to return to physical classes anytime soon. “Thus, keeping the current situation in mind, we have strengthened our online admission system and augmented the capacity to insure their academic schedule does not suffer. Also, the University aims to facilitate the process of skill enhancement, thus creating an immediate impact at the local level,” he added.
The University, a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), is recognized under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act and approved by AICTE New Delhi. It has established two strong areas for meaningful research – Renewable Energy & Material Science and Chemistry & Earth Science. The University has five MoUs with international universities for research and education besides collaboration with several national laboratories. An online library with over 65,000 e-learning resources has been made available to aid the process of self-study.
