Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), has started admission process for its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs for the academic year 2022. And this year, a new post graduate program, M.Sc. in (Agriculture Analytics) will be launched from this academic year. The program will be offered jointly by DA-IICT, Anand Agriculture University and Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) Dehradun. This program is targeted at science and engineering graduates . A multi-disciplinary program of agriculture and data analytics, the course will introduce students to concepts of data analytics, viz. descriptive, predictive and prescriptive, in agriculture and will empower the students to eliminate speculative farming and usher in the age of predictive agriculture. Scholarships and Financial Assistance:
DA-IICT provides both Merit & Merit-cum-Means scholarships to students of its Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs. The amount ranges from full to partial tuition fee waiver depending on the student’s academic credential and financial condition.
Additionally, M.Tech. students who are GATE qualified and Ph.D. research scholars get teaching assistance ship and receive financial assistance.
Eligibility
The Institute looks for students with good academic performance. There is no management quota at the DA-IICT. All the seats are filled as per the eligibility criteria set by the Institute and keeping in view the Government directions. The seats in the UG program are filled under three categories:
(a) All India category which is based on AIEEE JEE score
(b) Gujarat Category which is based on Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)
(c) NRI and Foreign National Category.
There is no increase in the tuition fees for the UG programs as compared to the last academic year 2021- 22. There is a marginal hike in fees in some of the PG and Doctoral programs.
