Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA), an NGO working in the field of Waste Management and TERI School of Advanced Studies are together running a Certificate Course on Entrepreneurship in Solid Waste Management. The course is endorsed by Skill Council for Green Jobs, Government of India.
The certificate course is a one-of-its-kind 8-week programme where subjective knowledge on waste management will be blended with practical applications. It focuses on training the youth to explore the scope of entrepreneurship in managing waste effectively and enhancing its recycling and recovery. The course includes sessions on solid waste management, enterprise development, policy frameworks, proposal development, technologies, project management, business opportunities, supply chain management, to name a few topics. The course also offers one-to-one mentoring to its participants in their journey towards entrepreneurship in solid waste management
