BSM, one of Hyderabad’s leading business schools, recently conducted a ceremonial orientation program to welcome its founding class of students for the 2024-26 academic year. These students will embark on the institute’s flagship PGDM programme, known for its innovative and industry-focused curriculum.
The three-day orientation programmed commenced at the BSM Campus where students were welcomed warmly by the BSM team, followed by the Dean’s address. Day 2 involved community-focused activities like culture-building exercises, a discourse on entrepreneurial ideas, and a tree plantation drive at the state-of-the-art campus. The event concluded on Day 3 with a session of self-reflection, case study discussions, and an exuberant gala night.
Addressing the students, Sri Kishan Badruka, Secretary of the Badruka Educational Society, said “As you begin this new chapter at BSM, remember that you are part of a community that believes in you and your potential. Other notable speakers included Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha, the Founding Dean of ISB Hyderabad, who inspired students with his insights on leadership and the evolving landscape of management education. Additionally, industry leaders like Mrinalini Shastry, Founder of Six Yard Plus and Vice President of Impact Partnerships, Rang De and Nitin Kashyap, SVP, Head of Product, Samagra and Former Group Product Manager, Google shared valuable perspectives on careers post-PGDM, giving students a glimpse into their potential futures.
This orientation programme for the founding PGDM class offered an introduction to the academic journey ahead, as well as a glimpse of the culture that awaits the students. The programme’s comprehensive approach ensures that students are well-prepared to excel and make the most of their experience.
