Alliance University, Bengaluru celebrated innovation, creativity, and sustainability over three days during its inter-university Techno-Cultural and Sports Fest, Alliance ONE 3.0 held from March 23-25. In its third edition, this national festival welcomed over 140 institutions and more than 450 teams, bringing together over 2,700 participants from across India.

The event showcased a diverse range of competitions, providing students with an exceptional platform to demonstrate their skills and creativity. With a prize pool exceeding INR 20 lakhs, the festival honoured winners across multiple categories. The event was inaugurated by renowned actor and playback singer Andrea Jeremiah.

Alliance ONE 3.0 witnesseda variety of competitions highlighting each school’s expertise. Notably, ANVAYA VIKSIT (School of Applied Engineering) featured challenges in smart cities, renewable energy, and robotics. SRIJAN (School of Design) presented a fashion show emphasizing upcycling and sustainable creativity. VIDHISAMVESAH (School of Law) hosted a prestigious Youth Parliament and Moot Court competition focused on national policies and reforms. MANTHAN (School of Liberal Arts & Humanities) organized an inter-university debate and quiz competition. CHATURANGA (School of Business) tested strategic skills in finance, marketing, HR, and management. SANSKRITI (School of Performing Arts) celebrated artistic expression through dance and music. SASTRA (School of Advanced Computing) held national-level coding and gaming tournaments. Finally, ATHLOS (Department of Student Support Services) offered competitive sports events, including football, basketball, cricket, volleyball and games.

Distinguished professionals from academia, industry, and the arts evaluated the competitions, providing invaluable insights to participants. Winners from the 50+ events were awarded for their outstanding performances, with a total prize pool exceeding INR 20 lakhs. Under Anvaya Viksit, winners included Vemana Institute of Technology, BMS College of Engineering, and KLE Technology University. In Srijan, top honours were awarded to DG Vaishnav School of Management, Karnatak Lingayat Education Society’s College of Business Administration, Global Institute of Business Studies, Yenepoya University, Sapient College, and St. Francis College (Dtribe). For Vidhisamvesah Vellore Institute of Technology and BMS College of Law secured accolades.

 The Manthan category saw winners from RV College of Engineering, Yenepoya University, RV University, and St. Joseph’s University. In Chaturanga, winning institutions included CMS B-school Jain, XIME Bangalore, NSB Academy, Mount Carmel College, Acharya Institute of Technology, VIT Vellore, KLE CBALC Belgaum, and Yenepoya University Mangalore, with Acharya Institute of Technology also clinching the title of Best Manager. Sastra had winners from Knowledge Institute of Technology, VEMU Institute of Technology, Hindustan Institute of Technology, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Dayananda Sagar University, GNA University, Paavai Engineering College, Presidency University, Jyothy Institute of Technology, Angadi Institute of Technology, Chanakya University, Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies, Dr. H.N. National College of Engineering, Christ University (Central Campus), ISBR Business School, and Alliance University.

Under Athlos, top institutions included M.S. Ramaiah Institute, St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC), St. Joseph’s University (SJU), IIIT Bangalore, PES Rajarajinagar (PES – RR), Alliance University, Jain Deemed to be University, Christ University (Bannerghatta Campus), Sapient University, RV College of Engineering, CMR College, BMS College, and KLE’s Lingaraj College.

With a number of institutions participating include IIT Bangalore, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), St. Joseph’s University, Acharya Institute of Technology, NSB (National School of Business), Yenepoya University, and many more, the festival provided a unique platform for students from diverse disciplines to collaborate on innovative and sustainable solutions to global challenges. Participants engaged in interdisciplinary problem-solving, cultural exchange.

Dr. B. Priestly Shan, Vice-Chancellor of Alliance University, emphasized the university’s dedication to sustainability, stating, “Alliance ONE is more than a festival, it is a movement toward a sustainable and inclusive future. As a founding member of PACT 2030, we are committed to the United Nations SDGs. This platform empowers young minds to collaborate, innovate, and drive change for a better world. We are pleased with the festival’s success and look forward to strengthening our partnerships in the future. Our goal is to raise awareness among the next generation about the importance of sustainability.”

Rakshith Kumar C and Divya Bisht, President,Student Governing Council (SGC) expressed happiness on success of the fest saying a series of events spanning diverse disciplines, united some of the brightest minds of our generation in pursuit of a cause far greater than ourselves-building a better world for future generations, with the Sustainable Development Goals at its core.
