According to Captain Yogendra Singh (PVC), who has been pivotal in running this theme for Allen this year, it is an act of developing courage and remembrance among children from Kargil War. Dr. Naveen Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN Career Institute, shared, “We believe in imparting values along with education. We started the Shaurya Vandan series on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay. During the event, the families of 32 martyrs who lost their lives in the Kargil war were honoured and the heartfelt memories shared by the families moved many to tears.  “We wanted to cap it all by hosting a national event to bring all these martyr families on national stage. The stories of these heroes and their families provide a strong motivation for all of us and particularly young students to accept the challenges and not get bogged down. The blessings of these families are very special and our children are fortunate to be engaged in something like this,” said Dr. Govind Maheshwari.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in a recorded message lauded the profound impact of the sacrifices made by soldiers during the Kargil war. He urged the youth to emulate the dedication and patriotism of the Kargil martyrs. Highlighting the significance of values in education, Speaker Birla noted, “Life is incomplete without values. When education is accompanied by values, life becomes complete. We should learn discipline and the spirit of living for the country from the lives of martyrs and soldiers.”
