Tel Aviv University – one of the global centers of cyber leadership, the M.A. in Cyber Politics and Government is a new graduate program for 2021-22. The program bridges strategic governance and policy with technology and is designed to help students gain the critical tools for developing strategic planning, management, and leadership in the challenging era of big data, cyber threats and new evolving technologies.
Headed by Professor EviatarMatania, founder and former Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD), the program helps students gather the necessary understanding of cyber challenges from a societal, governmental, corporate, and organizational perspective and therefore make educated decisions in risk management, compliance, budget, reputation, policy and strategy. It offers subjects ranging from the influence on modern-day elections to big data economy, policy-making and strategic planning, and equips students with a vast knowledge about the field of cyber security – a need of every profession today.
Eligibility for Indian students
The program is open to everyone with a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution of higher education. The students are required to have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or 80 on a 100 scale.
