Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida, is set to host a prestigious two-day National Conference titled “The Nexus Imperative: Environment, Public Health and Policy for a Sustainable Future (EHP Nexus 2026)” on 27–28 April 2026 at its Main Auditorium. Sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the conference is being organized by Department of Environmental Science, SoVSAS, GBU.
Key themes include climate c.hange, air & water pollution, circular economy, environmental justice, sustainable development, ESG, IKS and AI-based environmental monitoring, with special focus on the “One Health” approach integrating human, animal, and ecosystem health. The organizers have received an overwhelming response from researchers/academicians across the country, and more than 100 research paper abstracts are expected, reflecting the growing importance of interdisciplinary dialogue in addressing environmental and public health challenges.
Participants will gain opportunities for research presentations, publications, expert interaction, and career guidance. Registrations and abstract submission are invited till April 22, 2026.
“This conference is a significant step toward integrating scientific research with policy action. It will provide a collaborative platform where academia, policymakers, and practitioners can work together to develop practical solutions for pressing environmental and public health issues” said the Convener, Department of Environmental Science, GBU.
