Team NIT Raipur, comprising Prabhat Sharma and Tanish Agarwal has lifted the title of the season 2 of YES SECURITIES’s flagship Investor Education Initiative, WongaWits. In the grand finale held at YES Bank House, Santa Cruz, Mumbai on Dec 19, the winning team beat nine other finalists in a high energy and intense contest. Representing leading academic institutions nationwide, the finalists demonstrated strong proficiency across capital markets, economics, personal finance and current financial affairs.
Team Jawaharlal Nehru School, Bhopal, represented by Kabir Dubey and Maanas Vishwakarma, secured the first runner-ups position. The competition also witnessed a thrilling tiebreaker between the second- and third-placed teams, from Team IIT Guwahati with Yash Dev Singh and Divyam Kulshreshtha finishing as the second runner-ups.
The journey to the grand finale was highly competitive, with each participating city witnessing close to 400 participants in the preliminary rounds. The top performing teams from their respective cities progressed through multiple stages, eventually narrowing down to the final 10 teams who earned the opportunity to compete at the national grand finale in Mumbai underscoring the scale, rigor and pan-India reach of the initiative.
The finale was attended by Mr. Anshul Arzare, Managing Director & CEO, YES SECURITIES, and Mr. Rajan Pental, Executive Director, YES Bank, and Non-Executive Director, YES SECURITES, along with the Chief Marketing Officer, Nipun Kaushal from YES Bank, reflecting a shared commitment towards strengthening financial literacy and nurturing future ready talent.

In addition to the WongaWits Season 2 finale, the event also felicitated the winners of The Wize Whispers Season 2 Annual Quiz , which witnessed its largest ever participation with 12,009 registrations this year. For the first time, the quiz was conducted in a hybrid format, combining online participation with offline rounds held in school classrooms, expanding its reach to younger audiences. The season concluded with six winners three from the online format and three from the offline format further reinforcing the growing interest in structured financial learning at the school level.
