The newly opened Sparsh Global Business School (SGBS) in Knowledge Park Greater Noida on August 4 formally held its inaugural function, “Metamorphosis,” at its campus and marked its Foundation Day. SGBS heralded its journey in Business Education this year and the PGDM first batch was was also inaugurated this year.
Smt. Anandiben Patel, Governor of Uttar Pradesh known for her distinguished leadership and vision for educational advancement, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In her address, she emphasized on “The importance of learning from the grassroots-level and Value-based education and expressing a desire to make a meaningful impact to our Nation”. She urged the students to always aspire to leave a positive legacy and emphasized on the great potential and opportunities present in India for the youth over the next few decades.
Dr. Rama Subramaniam Gandhi (Chairman BOG-SGBS) in his welcome address emphasized on the new approach to business education, also focused on the philosophy and Vision-Mission of the institute and the corporate interface of the institute. “This momentous event marked the beginning of a new era in business education, bringing together a blend of tradition, innovation, and excellence,” he said. A video presentation introduced the audience to the vision, curriculum, infrastructure and differentiating features being adopted by SGBS.
