Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham ranked among the top 10 university in NIRF 2023, has officially commenced registrations AEEE (Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering) 2024. The entrance examination will be held in two phases. The initial phase is scheduled for January 19th to 22nd, 2023, while the second phase is tentatively planned for May 10th to 14th, 2023.
Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2024 will be conducted in the Computer Based Test mode across 125+ cities in India & UAE. The duration of AEEE 2024 will be 2.5 hours with 100 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The eligibility for appearing in the AEEE test is 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately, and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Admission to B. Tech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Amaravati, Mysuru, Nagercoil is based on the rank secured in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2024 or JEE Mains 2024 or SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or Pearson UG Engineering Entrance Examination Score (PUEEE). If the applicant has both the AEEE 2024 rank and JEE Mains 2024 percentile, there is more possibility of getting into the branch with the highest priority with scholarship fees.
Scholarships are available to qualifying students from all branches of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for 85 percent of seats in B.Tech programs. Scholarships worth 4.5 crores approximately are being offered every year to top-ranking 300+ eligible candidates. Scholarships for the first year are based on the admission exam rank, i.e., AEEE or JEE Mains. Scholarships are awarded depending on the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) in the succeeding years.
