MyCareernet announces GHCI 25 Hackathon with AnitaB.org India

MyCareernet, in partnership with AnitaB.org India, a part of the global non-profit AnitaB.org, and Backbase, have announced the launches the GHCI 25 hackathon as part of the Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI 25). The initiative invites students, professionals, and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to reimagine what is possible with AI, offering a total prize pool of ₹3 lakh.

This year’s theme, “Unbound with GenAI: Breaking Barriers, Creating Impact,” celebrates the power of innovation and inclusivity in the world of AI. The hackathon is designed to inspire participants to push creative boundaries, explore the possibilities of generative AI, and transform ideas into real-world impact. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs through hands-on, mentored experiences that create real, impactful outcomes.

Participants will develop AI-driven solutions across five pivotal themes — Transaction Categorisation, Ethical AI, Social Impact, Financial Operations, and AI-driven KYC — each aimed at solving pressing challenges that shape a better, more inclusive digital future. With INR 3 lakh in prizes, access to internship and career opportunities with global tech leaders, and the chance to pitch live at GHCI 25, this hackathon offers a rare platform to innovate, collaborate, and build the next wave of AI breakthroughs.

By integrating emerging technologies with practical challenges, it reflects the mission of both MyCareernet and AnitaB.org India to drive innovation, equity, and access within tech ecosystems.

Contest Details:

  • Hackathon Name: GHCI 25 Hackathon, themed “Unbound with GenAI: Breaking Barriers, Creating Impact”
  • Registration Deadline: November 7, 2025 (11:59 PM IST)
  • Eligibility: Students, professionals, and entrepreneurs of all experience levels and disciplines who are passionate about innovation and technology
  • Prize Pool: ₹3 lakh in cash and potential internships / career opportunities
  • Access: Hosted on the MyCareernet platform, enabling seamless global participation and submission
  • Support and Visibility: Finalists will present their solutions at GHCI 25, gaining access to a worldwide tech community
