Medyseva, a telemedicine and health-tech start-up, has launched Medymate app, aimed at addressing the mental health concerns among students. Medymate is designed to serve adolescents aged 14-24, focusing on students from schools, colleges, and coaching institutes.
The app ensures access to quality mental healthcare services at an affordable rate, starting at just 1 rupee per day per student, totalling 365 rupees per year. In collaboration with educational institutions, students, and relevant agencies, MedyMind will provide accessible and effective mental health support to those in need.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, CEO and Founder of Medyseva, expressed profound optimism: “MedyMind is committed to revolutionizing mental health care in India. We offer eight free workshops to enhance productivity for both students and institutes. Additionally, we provide a list of 50 workshops for institutes to select from, fostering a healthy and productive environment that promotes academic success.”
During the pilot phase, over 2,000 students enrolled with the MedyMate app in coaching institutes in Madhya Pradesh. With a team of psychologists addressing various issues, including exam anxiety, bullying, sexual orientation, and drug abuse, MedyMate ensures affordable access to quality healthcare services for all. The app also provides eight free workshops in various domains, including MedyMind, Medyshe, Medydiet, and Medyvision.
