Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will close the registration process for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2025 and SITEEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) on April 12, 2025. Both SET and SITEEE are aptitude-based, Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to full-time UG programmes, including BBA, BCA, BA, BSc and B.Tech at Symbiosis Institutes. Candidates can opt for up to two test attempts, with the higher score being considered for percentile calculation. Aspiring candidates must complete their applications via the official portal at www.set-test.org before the deadline.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) evaluates candidates on General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning, offering a fair and holistic assessment. Designed for engineering aspirants, Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) assesses core competencies in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Both the test features 60 objective questions spread across three to four sections, with no negative marking, encouraging students to answer all questions confidently. This thoughtfully structured test provides candidates with a comprehensive and stress-free evaluation experience, paving the way for admission to prestigious undergraduate programs at Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU). Candidates can appear for the entrance tests on May 5, 2025, and May 11, 2025, with results being announced on May 22, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
For SET 2025, applicants must have completed Standard XII (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes). Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of the Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for the Multiple entries would be as per University’s Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.
For SITEEE 2025, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, a Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required (40% for SC/ST candidates). Alternatively, candidates who have completed a D.Voc. program in the same or an allied field are also eligible. The university will also offer bridge courses in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing etc., helping students from diverse backgrounds build a strong foundation and achieve the desired learning outcomes.
Registration Process:
To register for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2025 and SITEEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) 2025, applicants must complete the online registration process by April 12, 2025, via www.set-test.org. A non-refundable fee of INR 2250 per test and INR 1000 per programme is applicable. Payment can be made online or through a Demand Draft in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat.”
