JS Institute of Design (JSID), New Delhi, will be hosting the Global Game Jam 2025, the world’s largest game creation event. The event is scheduled to take place from January 23rd to 25th, 2025, at the JSID campus. The Global Game Jam brings game developers and designers together for an intensive game development experience, where participants design and build innovative games around a theme in 48 hours.
In its 2024 edition, the event drew a record-breaking 35,000+ participants across 796 locations in 102 countries, resulting in the creation of an impressive 9,964 games. To further elevate their experience, participants can also opt for “Diversifiers” – optional creative constraints designed to add a unique twist to their game development experience. Using Diversifiers will enable participants to differentiate their game, challenge themselves, and enhance their experience. Participants can choose up to 4 Diversifiers when submitting their game.
