JS Institute of Design (JSID), a new-age design institute in New Delhi, will be hosting the Global Game Jam 2026, from January 30th to February 1st, 2026, at the JSID campus at Lajpat Nagar. For what is essentially a 48-hour sprint, Global Game Jam brings together designers and game developers to create cutting-edge games with a theme.

“Diversifiers” are available to participants who wish to add some interest. These are optional creative limitations that give your approach to game production a distinctive twist. Using Diversifiers will enable participants to differentiate their game, challenge themselves, and enhance their experience. You can pick up to 4 Diversifiers when submitting your game.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Global Game Jam and provide a platform for game developers and artists to collaborate and innovate,” said Nien Siao, Dean at JS Institute of Design. Students studying game design are exposed to the real workings of the industry through events such as these.
