For undergraduate program, the criteria for admission is minimum 60% aggregate marks in both Class X & XII or Equivalent. Candidates should have passed class X & XII from reputed Central/ State Board / University in India or in any foreign country as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of India Universities. Students appearing for final board exams can also apply. However, the admission will be provisional based on the minimum marks obtained.
Those applying for Master’s Program in Design require 60 % aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in 10+2+3 from the recognized university.
The Applicants are required to sit in one of the Design Entrance tests from NID- DAT or UCEED. In case the applicant has not appeared in the above-mentioned entrance, he/she must appear for JKLU- DET.
All overseas students can also apply for admission based on the marks in 10+2 or from equivalent examination only.
Only those students who fulfil the eligibility criteria need to apply. The students are required to pay the application form fee of Rs 1,000. Application fee is not refundable. Once your application form is received by the management, they will send the confirmation via email and update the students on the Time/ Venue/ Entrance conducted by Institute of Design at JK Lakshmipat University.
