On March 11, 2025, a day-long event brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs, industry experts, psychologists, doctors, academics, and students to explore optimistic perspectives on progress and development in shaping the future. The event’s discussions delved into transformative topics such as the impact of courage and kindness, the power of self-awareness, and the pivotal role of technology in advancing medical research.
The event featured insightful talks from notable figures including Mr. Vinay Kumar Swamy, Country Head of Pearson India; Mr. Raul Handa, Founder and CEO of the Forttuna Group; Ms. Shobha Lal, Social Activist and Founder of ASMII; Dr. Vineet Govind Gupta, Unit Head of Medical Oncology at Fortis; Ananya Khera, Founder of Ditya Bakers; Ms. Jigyasa Tandon, Psychologist and Founder of PSY-FI: For a Healthy Mind; Rahul Unnithan, Theatrical Virtuoso and Student at JIMS Rohini, Delhi; Dr. Yukti Ahuja, Academician and Faculty at JIMS Rohini; and Labhya Gupta, Strategic Advisor and Head of the Founder’s Office at JIMS Rohini.
“TEDx JIMS Rohini bridges the gap between the past and the future, highlighting the transformations intrinsic to humanity’s journey, with a pedagogical philosophy rooted in this learning,” said Dr. Mansi Arora Madan, Lead Organizer of the event and faculty at JIMS Rohini. “By providing platforms for students to engage with industry leaders, activists, and thought leaders, we are preparing the next generation of pioneers who will drive India’s economic growth,” added Dr. Pooja Jain, Director of JIMS Rohini.
Each talk illuminated a unique facet of the human experience, capturing the depth of individual and collective journeys. Organized by a dedicated team of JIMS students and faculty, the event adhered to the TEDx format, featuring concise, impactful talks designed to spark meaningful dialogue and connections among participants. “Our goal was to utilize the TED platform to nurture and spread ideas worth sharing,” explained Samarth Garg, Co-Organizer of the event and a student at JIMS Rohini.
In line with TEDx’s global mission of “ideas worth spreading,” all talks were professionally recorded and will be edited for submission to the official TEDx YouTube channel, ensuring they reach millions of viewers worldwide.
