At Globalart’s International Competition held in Chennai on Dec 7 – Shabdha Sriram and Priyahasini S. won the championship and first runner-up in Group D respectively while Sharvika S. won the 1st runner up in Group C. While all three of them were from Chennai – we also had Dheeran K. from Coimbatore being adjudged the 1st Runner up in Group B.
Children aged between 5 – 18 years created stunning works of art on the theme ‘My World of AI’, turning the venue into a vibrant showcase of creativity, imagination and artistic brilliance. The event celebrated Globalart’s mission to nurture creativity and build confidence in every child through the power of art. Also present at the venueBringing together 500 young artists from around the world at Four Points by Sheraton, Mahabalipuram. Delegates and participants from 14 countries – Cambodia, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, USA, Vietnam and of course India took part in this celebration of colour and creativity.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Divya Satyan emphasized the importance of art in a child’s education, stating, “Art is essential for children. In a world driven by rapid technological change and artificial intelligence that often promotes uniform thinking, creativity has become the most vital skill a child can develop. Interesting to note that today’s topic resonates that!”
Prof. Dr. Divya Satyan, Director at the prestigious NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Chennai; Mr. Mahair Goh, Founder and Managing Director of Globalart and Mr. Dinesh Victor, Founder and Managing Director of SIP Academy India presided over the Globalart’s International Competition and gave away the awards and prizes.
