Institute of Management Studies, Law department is organizing a two-day Model United Nations (MUN) Conference- an interdepartmental event on September 9 and 10. The fest has been named IMS LAW MUNC’22.
The conferences are academic simulations of the UN where students perform as delegates of different countries and discuss various global issues while elaborating on the policies and perspectives of the respective countries. It helps students to develop skills like leadership, public speaking, research, and writing.
The fest involves three exciting committees with sparkling agendas and an insightful executive board such as the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC), and International Press. There are other categories for International Press for the event which include Journalists, Caricaturists, Photography, and Videography. The participated students will get cash prizes and certificates in the concerned applied category of the competition.
This will be 1st edition of the Model United Nation Conference for IMS and objective is to develop cognitive skill and emotional intelligence growth of students.
